The beautiful Cyclades Islands of Greece

The Cyclades islands are located on the southeastern mainland of Greece. It is derived from the Greek word "cyclos" meaning circle, as the Cyclades islands form a circle around Delos, the sacred island of the ancient Greek god Apollo. All the Cyclades islands have whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches, coloured windows and narrow cobblestone streets.
